A Major deal to sell the Isle of Man film rights for Miss Potter to Miramax has been secured.
The company, which is also known as the Weinstein Company in New York, spent a week in negotiations before the 25 million dollar movie started shooting.
Currently filming on the Island, the movie follows the life and times of Children’s’ Author, Beatrix Potter.
It stars Ewan McGregor and Renee Zellweger.(pictured)
