Island students lead the way

The Isle of Man is leading the way it its 14/16 initiative.

That is according to the principal of the Isle of Man College, Ray Smith, who says increasing numbers of students from Island secondary schools are spending part of their working week at the college to study vocational subjects.

Mr Smith says it prepares them well for their chosen career path and proves the college is far from a soft option in the education system.
