Quarry protest

At lunchtime on Friday, around 50 people, including Garf MHK Steve Rodan, (pictured) took part in a protest against the expansion of Dreemskerry Quarry.

The Dreemskerry Quarry Action Group was formed to protest against planning to allow the facility to be significantly developed

In a peaceful protest those present marched with placards, and Mr Rodan told the assembly that he would represent his constituents
