The battle to stay in OSA Division One remains on a knife edge after the two clubs battling out in a bid to beat the drop, Marown and Old Boys, drew 0-0 during a tense afternoon at Crosby.
Ayre United are also closer to the drop zone after they went down 3-1 at Rushen United – a victory which eases any relegation fears the southerners may have had.
Promising youngster Andrew Moody scored twice for the home side with the returning former Island international Paul Jones grabbed the other.
Michael Nixon scored the Ayre consolation.
St Mary’s remain in third place after an impressive 6-1 home success over Douglas Royal.

In-form St John’s won 4-0 at already relegated Castletown with goals from Paul Corlett, Mark Tully, John Roberts and Lam Harrison.
Braddan are celebrating promotion to the top flight after gaining the point they required in CFS Division Two.
A 2-2 draw at home to FA Cup finalists Pulrose set the celebrations in full swing.
The division’s leading scorer, David Kinrade, and Paul Ramsden were Braddan’s scorers, with Pulrose’s goals from Danny Skillicorn and Richard Sharman.
That result meant Colby’s outside promotion hopes were ended, although they did their bit, thrashing Malew 6-0 in the southern derby at Glen Road.
Steven Ward was the hero with four goals with Matty Wilshaw and Steve Kelly grabbing one apiece.
The Police’s good season continued as the fourth placed side defeated Michael 2-0 with goals from Nick Bass and Damien O’Toole.
Ramsey Youth Centre gained a fine 5-2 home success over Foxdale with the goals from Mark McClerg (two), Spencer Bell (two) and Glenn McGovern, while the ever improving Onchan went on the rampage at lowly Ronaldsway with a hat-trick from Darren McGuinness, plus goals from Steve McIntosh, Dave Priestnal, Daniel Bentham, Julian Brycroft, Carlos Duarty securing an 8-0 romp.
