Help for Alzheimer sufferers

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2006
An Alzheimer's sufferer in the Isle of Man is urging people to keep their sense of humour in the face of adversity.

The man, who's first name is Martin, says being diagnosed with the condition was a shock but it it doesn't mean you can't live a normal life.

He says going to classes at the Memory Clinic, and speaking to people who've been through the same thing has been a great help.

But he says the main thing is not to take life too seriously no matter what.
