More rock for the Island

by isleofman.com 5th April 2006
Another date for rock fans in the Isle of Man this spring!

A founder of super group Dire Straits, David Knopfler is to perform an intimate gig at the Gaiety Theatre on the opening weekend of this years TT.

David, brother of the group's front man Mark, will perform on the 28th of May with Harry Bogdanvos on piano. Despite Dire Straits' world wide acclaim David left the band saying "the fun had simply gone out of it".

Budding musicians will have a rare chance to speak to David in a question and answer session after the concert.
