Hospice work underway

Work on the new hospice is now well underway.

The first sod was cut last September by the previous governor Air Marshal Ian McFadyen, and since then a large amount of preparation, drainage and piling work has been carried out.

The site preparation costs meant an additional figure of more than ?2million is required for the project

Head of fund raising for the Mighty Oak 2 project, Ron Berry, says so far there's been a very good response to more fund raising:
