The hard work of Department of Transport’s road gangs has been praised by Minister Phil Braidwood.
Work on Windy Corner has been completed more than three weeks early, and after a final inspection the Department of Transport announced the road open yesterday.
Mr Braidwood says he’s pleased the main artery from Douglas to Ramsey is open again.
And he says despite poor weather, staff completed the work faster than well ahead of schedule.
