Energy report update

by isleofman.com 6th April 2006
The report investigating Energy Prices will be released to the public in June at the earliest.

The news comes from the Office of Fair trading which is carrying out the enquiry.

It aims to establish whether recent price rises are fair - or whether providers are making too much profit.

The OFT is meeting with energy companies next week to verify the accuracy of the provisional report.

It will then be written up and submitted to the Council of ministers in around two months time.
