More aircraft flew into and out of the Island’s airport , but passenger figures show a slight drop on last year’s tallies.
Figures released by Ronaldsway show 4,000 fewer people have travelled by air in March this year compared to 2005.
The two airlines with the highest passenger totals are EuroManx and BA Connect – which account for 35 and 30% of passenger movements respectively.
Airport director Phil Pain says the figures are down on last year because of the late Easter Holiday this year, but 2006 is the second best March on record.
