A call has gone out to toddlers and their parents to join in the Island’s first ever Barnardo’s Big Toddle.
It will be staged on June the 22nd at the Wildlife Park in Ballaugh.
The event’s planned at a number of venues throughout the UK over the summer with local pre-schools, playgroups and nurseries being invited to join in the fun by organising their own sponsored half-mile ‘toddles’ and keeping 25% of all funds raised.
Thousands of youngsters toddled in the UK in 2005, raising over ?1million to help disadvantaged children and local community groups.
