Bunscoill in St John's will be starring in a TV programme about Manx Gaelic later this year.

A Belfast-based TV crew are in the Island this weekend filming various aspects of Manx culture.

The show, SRL, will be transmitted later in the year on BBC Northern Ireland and was being filmed today at Bunscoill.

Sinead Inglesby, assistant producer in the Irish language unit at BBC Belfast, says Manx is of interest because it's so similar to Irish.
