Stolen car crashed

by isleofman.com 8th April 2006
The hunt is on for two car thieves who stole and crashed a vehicle last night.

The purple Nissan Micra was taken from Woodlands Avenue in Douglas just before midnight.

The keys had been left in the ignition.

The car was then driven towards Ballakermeen School, and at the junction of Belmont Hill and Peel Road, almost collided with a passing taxi.

The car failed to stop before crashing on Pulrose Road, where the occupants ran off.
