The Curraghs Wildlife Park has issued a consultative document setting out its objectives for the next 10 years.
The strategy gives a brief history of the park, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, and an assessment of its current position.
The document is available from the wildlife park's website through the main government website or copies can be obtained from the park itself.
Kate Skinner reports:
The proposals are open to consultation and it's hoped the public will send in suggestions on topics such as the animal collection, education, sustainability, infrastructure and partnerships.
The strategy has been prepared against a background of the recent strategy, issued by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, which sets out a vision of zoos contributing to the conservation of wildlife worldwide.
