by isleofman.com 10th April 2006
Former Formula One World Champion Damon Hill will visit the Island next month.

The 1996 Grand Prix champion will be the guest speaker at a sell-out charity fundraiser on May the 4th at the Hilton Hotel.

Hill has been invited to the Island by Project 21, a charity set up to raise funds for a multi-purpose centre for people with learning disabilities.

The building is expected to be completed by December 2006.

Hill, who will be accompanied by his wife Georgie, is talking as the father of a Downs Syndrome child.
