Car crime campaign

Manx Residents tend to be too trusting.

The comment comes from Force crime prevention officer, PC Mike Radcliffe.

The police have launched a new year long campaign to remind people to take simple measures to stop opportunist crime.

We’re being asked to always lock the doors on our vehicles – even if it’s only to go into a petrol station.

Never leave valuables on display, look after our keys and if we keep the car in a garage keep the door locked.
