Public anger at road closures

The public’s fed up of ‘random road closures’.

That is the verdict from Ramsey MHK Anne Craine (pictured) who is urging the Department of Transport to show more consideration over the frequency in which road closures are granted.

And while she acknowledges the economic benefits certain events provide, she’s concerned about the impact on businesses and the inconvenience caused to the travelling public:
