MHK ready to name and shame

by isleofman.com 15th April 2006
North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says he’s ready to name and shame employers who hide behind complicated company structures if he feels staff are getting a raw deal.

He raised concerns in the House of Keys this week about dentist practices after being approached by employees who wanted a case taken up by the Industrial Relations Service.

But the service couldn’t find out who actually employs the nurses and administrators because of the way DHSS contracts operate.

Mr Henderson says he will continue to raise the matter in parliament.
