Mayor of Douglas Glenda Corkish has paid tribute to former Deemster and High Bailiff Henry Callow, who died on Good Friday.
He was 79 and had been ill for some time, and Mrs Corkish says his ties with Douglas Corporation endeared him to staff and councillors alike.
She says he’ll be remembered fondly for his work within the town.
