Time to re-visit Ramsey harbour plans

by isleofman.com 21st April 2006
Ramsey MHK Anne Craine is hoping the Department of Transport will move its plans for Ramsey harbour forward – now that the Port St Mary marina plans look to have been scuppered.

She says now the DoT planning application for Port St Mary has been turned down, it’s time to consider Ramsey’s water retention scheme.

In Tynwald on Tuesday, she’ll ask Transport Minister Phil Braidwood if he’ll accelerate his plans for the town.

And she believes the time is right to being the process of regeneration.
