Drugs seizure

A Douglas man has appeared in court within the last hour following a significant drugs seizure at the Sea Terminal this morning.

Jonathon Andrew Mellor, 25, is charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and the attempted production of a class A drug.

The court heard the seizure, believed to be ecstasy, involves 2,300 pills.

He was remanded in custody and will appear again on Tuesday.
