The Guild gets underway

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2006
The 114th Manx Music Festival gets underway in the Villa Marina this morning (Saturday).

Entries have risen to around 1,700 and over the next eight days competitors will be taking part in around 50 classes.

Judith Ley will be presenting a series of programmes from the Guild on Manx Radio and the first of those Guild programmes will be broadcast tomorrow (Sunday) evening between 10pm and midnight.

While she enjoys all the classes, Judith admits she has a soft spot for those involving children.
