Government Plan

They say a week is a long time in politics - so looking years ahead is never going to be an accurate science.

But plans for the future must be made and the Manx government is publishing its three year plan for the Island, looking ahead to 2009.

The plan sets out the challenges facing the Isle of Man as it tries to remain economically diverse and able to compete internationally.

Chief Minister Donald Gelling says drawing up long term plans is especially difficult in an election year:
