Work permit question

by isleofman.com 24th April 2006
There will be more questions about the Island’s work permit system when Tynwald sits tomorrow.

Michael MHK David Cannan is asking about the appointment of a Network Operations Manager at the Department of Transport.

He will ask Transport Minister Phil Braidwood whether the DoT is appealing a decision to refuse a work permit to an off-Island candidate.

Mr Cannan has asked for confirmation the candidate is being appointed in preference to a Manx worker.
