Murder trial halted

by isleofman.com 24th April 2006
There have been dramatic developments at Douglas courthouse where the murder trial of Ann Marie Gosling has been halted.

The 51 year-old Ramsey woman of King’s Reach was accused of the murder of 49 year-old Peter Roy Ormiston in Balleigh Park in the town in January 2004.

However, earlier today (Mon), the charge was reduced by prosecutors to one of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
