Yesterday's Guild competition saw Foxdale school take home the coveted 'Murray's Music Making Cup'.
They were competing against Scoill Vallajeelt, Albert Road and the Buchan School in the music making under-12 class.
The young scholars performed two songs in the competition, the rousing Foxdale Medley and 'World is a Village Now' which they collectively wrote about the Good Hope school in Uganda.
The pupils of Foxdale school have been sending over aid to the 'Good Hope School' and have had regular correspondence with one of their pupils.
