Parish Walk entry tops 1000 mark

For the second year in a row, over a thousand people will take part in the Parish Walk.

With entries at the reduced fee closing at midnight, 1027 competitors have registered.

There is still a week to go to put your name forward for the event - the entry fee is ?20.

Last year, a record 1317 started the race. This year's walk will start at the National Sports Centre at eight o'clock on the morning of Saturday 24th June.
