The Department of Tourism has appointed Paul Phillips as T.T. and Motorsport Development Manager.

Paul will leave his current position at Barclay's Bank to take on the new role. He had been working for the DOT with Richard "Milky" Quayle, on a part time basis, as a Rider Recruitment Officer.

His job is to help raise the profile and quality of the T.T. to a world class standard. However, Paul says his remit is to do the same for all motorsport events held on the Island:-

In addition, the Department has formally announced that Signature Sponshorship and London based PR agency The Media Foundry have been appointed to help with the T.T.'s commercial propects and profile.
