Fryin' emergency!

by isleofman.com 27th April 2006
An emergency services turnout at Ronaldsway Airport was caused by an all-day breakfast.

On Tuesday evening, the pilot of a British Airways Dash 8 plane en-route to Manchester turned back after people could smell smoke in the cabin.

It was discovered the odour was due to a meal being put in the aircraft's food warmer, still in its cardboard packaging.
