Girl lured in Peel - witnesses sought

by isleofman.com 28th April 2006
Police are looking for witnesses to an incident in which a man tried to lure a young girl into a car.

It happened at around 4pm yesterday (Thurs) at Ballaquane Park in Peel.

The man, who is described as middle aged, of medium build and with white hair, attempted to coax the girl into his car, which is thought to be a white four door hatch back.

Officers say they would be interested to hear from other children who may have had similar approaches from the man, or any sightings of the vehicle

Whilst the girl was unharmed, police are advising parents to make sure young children are always suitably cared for and supervised when playing outside.
