Child Care report to be made public

The report of the Child Inquiry will be made public next Thursday ( May 4th).

The Chairman of the inquiry, Mark Everall QC is expected to make a statement on Thursday afternoon, and refer to the conclusions in the report.

Amongst those who gave evidence to the lengthy inquiry were Brenda Cannell MHK (pictured); former MHK Geoff Cannell; the Director of Social Services David Cooke; the Chief Constable; and the Chief Probation Officer David Sellick.

Some of the recommendations of the inquiry have already been implemented.
