Move for Family Planning Clinic

by isleofman.com 29th April 2006
The Family Planning Clinic, also known as the Greenhouse, has moved to its new permanent facility on Ballakermeen Road in Douglas.

Originally a charity, the clinic is now part of DHSS Primary Health Care services and supplements the services available from General Practitioners.

The clinic was opened by the Lady Mayoress, Ruth Denning, who worked as a receptionist at the clinic for 30 years before her retirement.

The ceremony was attended by Health Minister Steve Rodan.

The clinic is open to all Island residents and is a free and confidential service for all age groups.
