Diving inquest opened by coroner

The Coroner, Michael Moyle, has opened and adjourned an inquest into the death of a 41 year man.

Michael Bromsgrove, a bricklayer from Anfield in Liverpool, died in a diving incident in Port Erin on April 19.

Pathologist, Dr Christopher Clague, gave the cause of death as salt water drowning.

Mr Moyle said the equipment used by Mr Bromsgrove had been sent to the United Kingdom for tests and on its return the inquest would be resumed.
