by isleofman.com 1st May 2006
Police in Castletown are appealing for information after a flare gun was apparently fired at a woman as she walked her dog along the beach on Sunday afternoon.

A man shouted to the woman from the road, then fired the gun at her narrowly missing her head.

Police want to speak to two young men who were walking on the promenade by Derbyhaven Road, who may have seen what happened.
