Manx cyclist Scott Flynn just missed out on an overall win the Youth A Class at this weekend's Cycling Youth Tour.
Riding for Orbicoaching RT, Scott was pipped to the post by Alex Paton of VC Deal/Hammonds/ACTIV. Mark Christian of Team Scottish Provident Isle of Man was fourth.
In the Junior section, Scott's brother Warren was 15th in an event dominated by the strong Dutch entry headed by Track Champion Pim Ligthart and Time Trial Champion Jetse Bol.
The Youth B Class was won by Daniel McClay of the East Midlands Region. Team Scottish Provident's Chris Nicholson was fifth.
Harry Tanfield of Cleveland Wheelers won the Youth C class. Alexander Haddock from Team Scottish Provident was eighth overall.
There were some notable performances by Manx competitors, include a win for Mark Christian in the Youth A Prologue on Day One and a win for Scott Flynn in the Youth A class Road Circuit on Saturday.
