He wanted to know if the Department of the Environment were concerned about litter despoiling the Manx landscape, and if so whether consideration would be given to a campaign to clean the Island up such as the successful 'Clean Sweep' initiative run several years ago
Minister John Rimington said it was a matter which had been under active consideration by the infrastructure and environment sub-committee of the Council of Ministers for some time.
