Sentence on a 20 year old woman has been adjourned by the High Bailiff.

Rebecca Leanne Goodall of Edromony in Port Erin admitted being drunk and disorderly and assaulting two police officers.

Stuart Peters reports:

(Text of attached audio)
Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, said police saw the defendant on the ground outside a filling station on Station Road Port Erin at 9.55pm on April 13th.

When they asked her to move away from the forecourt of the filling station, Goodall became abusive and started swearing. Friends arrived and started to walk her away but as she passed the police van, Goodall spat at the van and then started to swear again at the officers.

She was then arrested by the two officers. She spat at one and kicked the other on the leg.

She has been warned that custody is possible and she has been bailed until May 23rd
