New Chairman for Onchan Commissioners

Onchan Commissioners have a new Chairman.

At last night's Annual General Meeting, former policeman Derek Crellin was elected after six years on the board.

He has previously served as Chairman of the Works and Cleansing Committee and Chairman of the Policy and Finance Committee.

Tim Norton was elected Vice-Chairman and will also be Chairman of the Policy and Finance Committee.

The other committee chairman elected last night are; Keith Watterson for the Housing Committee, David Quirk for Works and Cleansing and Brian Stowell for Leisure and Amenities.
