A 21 year old man has been further remanded in custody by the High Bailiff.
Avinash Shetty of the International Hotel School in Port Erin, is alleged to have maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm with intent on Shamula Ballasubromain in Port Erin on April 27th
His advocate said a bail address was not available at the present, and she was currently making enquiries at David Grey House.
Mr Moyle has remanded the defendant in custody until May 9th.
