Minister to oppose gambling bill

A government minister is taking a lone stand against plans to revolutionise the Isle of Man's gambling industry.

Glenfaba MHK and Education Minister David Anderson will vote against the Gambling Amendment Bill - which he opposes in principle.

Despite claims millions of pounds worth of new business could be attracted to the Island - Mr Anderson's concerned the Island's reputation could suffer badly.

And he isn't convinced by promises the industry will be subject to tough regulations:
