David Christian is once again leader of Douglas Council.
He has resumed the role following the resignation of Linda Christian.
Mr Christian also becomes Chairman of Policy and Resources, the most powerful of the corporation committees.
HIs acceptance of the position would seem to indicate that he is not contemplating running for the Keys in the November General election.
