"Hit and run" in Ramsey

Police are investigating an accident in which a 13 year old boy is alleged to have been knocked off his bicycle.

The incident happened at around 7.10pm on Monday on North Shore Road, Ramsey and a car involved failed to stop.

The boy wasn't injured, but some damage was caused to the bike and police say they would like to speak to two witnesses who helped the boy.

One was the driver of a BMW car and the other a woman pedestrian.

The car and driver concerned have been traced.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Constable Clague at Ramsey police station on 812234.
