Childcare findings welcomed by chief minister

The Isle of Man's chief minister is welcoming the publication of the childcare report.

In a statement issued this afternoon, Donald Gelling says it concludes no actions or failures by government led directly to the deaths of Samantha Barton or George Green. .

Mr Gelling (pictured) says many of the 132 recommendations are already in place, or on the way to being implemented.

Tynwald will discuss the report during the sitting which starts on May 16.
