"Watch this space" is the message from the newly re-appointed Leader of Douglas Council David Christian about a possible attempt to be elected to the Keys.
He has taken over from Linda Ramsay who has stepped down from the role.
Speaking on Manx Radio this morning Mr Christian admits there will always be issues between local authorities and central Government.
In criticising press for liking to report negative headlines, Mr Christian says the Corporation could not have done what they have in Pulrose without help from the Local Government Department.
