Emerald air operator's certificate suspended

by isleofman.com 5th May 2006
Euromanx passengers flying between Ronaldsway and Liverpool over the next couple of weeks will be boarding a different aeroplane to the Emerald ATP they might have been expecting.

Manx Radio has learned that Emerald's Air Operators Certificate has been suspended, which means that the two ATP aircraft they operate on behalf of Euromanx on the Liverpool route are currently grounded.

Euromanx Sales and Marketing Director Seamus Byrne has confirmed that the company has leased a replacement aircraft - an ATR 72 - and that flights to and from Liverpool will proceed as scheduled.
