Prometic annual meeting

An international company with a manufacturing plant in the Island has been giving its outlook for the next year at its annual and special shareholders' meeting.

ProMetic Life Sciences is based in Montreal but has a factory in the Freeport at Ballasalla.

The company has two flagship candidate drugs in development to combat anemia and cancer.

The meeting took place at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts where Project Director Dr. Christopher Bryant presented progress made on the company's cutting edge Plasma Protein Purification System technology.

Dr. Steve Burton, Chief Executive Officer of ProMetic BioSciences Ltd talked about growth potential and funding opportunities.
