Restructure of run the risk of losing out, says Speaker

It’s time to restructure local government in the Island or risk the possibility of it disappearing altogether.

Speaker of the House of Keys, Tony Brown, says unless the structure is changed and made more effective, that forecast is a possibility.

Mr Brown says transferring back certain functions to local authorities with clear guidelines is a step forward.
