Knight wins in Portugal

by isleofman.com 8th May 2006
Reigning World Enduro 3 Champion David Knight's unstoppable form continued at the weekend by winning his class on both days of the Portugal round of the World Championship.

He added another 50 points to his tally and now leads the championship by 12 points from KTM team mate Marko Tarkkala.

Conditions couldn't have been more different from those of the previous round in Sweden. Dry, dusty and rocky special tests made it extremely challenging, but David used his trials skills to open up a commanding lead.

Over the weekend he won all but one of the special tests, and both of the extreme tests.

The third round of the World Enduro Championship is next weekend in Spain.
