Ramsey fire update

Police say it's unlikely that a blaze in Ramsey this morning was started deliberately.

Fire services and police officers have been investigating the fire in Mannix Court, which broke out at around 1.35am.

Although there were no serious injuries, the building had to be evacuated, and residents cared for by Civil Defence volunteers overnight. There was also extensive damage to the property.

Inspector Dave Duke says it's not thought that foul play was involved:
