Death by dangerous driving - custody

A man charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified has appeared before Deemster Doyle at a court of General Jail.

29 year old Gordon Thomas Lewis of Slieu Curn Park, Kirk Michael, admitted causing the death of Agnieska Darul-Gibalska on June 9th 2005 on the Ballamodha Straight.

Lewis also admitted driving whilst disqualified.

He surrendered his bail and has been remanded in custody until June 12th for a social enquiry report to be prepared.
